The 7th annual fundraiser in Monaco in co-operation with Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco and the WWF ,was held yesterday 18th of July 2019 with more than 150 guests , on board both the two yachts of Stelios Haji-ioannou berthed in the marina in front of the Yacht Club de Monaco .
The event was once again a great success raising about 60.000 € from the guests , which the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation will double in order to donate a total of 120.000 € to this year’s cause , which is saving the sharks from extinction !!! Thank you to all our guests who donated to the cause .
Sharks are essential to the natural balance and order of marine ecosystems , but they now face the most severe threat – from overfishing and demand for their fins.
