30 September 2026. The 14th annual charity fundraiser dinner, hosted by Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou and the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation, raised a grand total of €610,000 in support of WWF and the Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco.
The special evening was held in the presence of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco and Mr Daudi Sumba, Chief Conservation Officer of WWF International, bringing together philanthropists and supporters committed to protecting our oceans and marine ecosystems.
This year’s fundraising initiative focused on “Working together for effective protection in the Pelagos Sanctuary and the Mediterranean’s Marine Protected Areas”, supporting efforts to safeguard these vital marine environments for future generations.
Since the initiative began 14 years ago, Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou and the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation have donated a total of €4.2 million through these annual fundraising events, supporting important environmental causes.
A special thank you goes to the 60 philanthropists who attended the dinner and generously contributed to raising funds for this important cause. Their commitment and generosity will help support the continued protection of the Pelagos Sanctuary and the Mediterranean’s precious marine ecosystems.
