Together for Wishes: €200,000 Raised for Make-A-Wish International

In a powerful demonstration of generosity and community spirit, the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation hosted a fundraiser event in support of Make-A-Wish® International, at the Stelios Foundation Conference Hall in Monaco. The event, held in Monaco on the 16th June 2025, brought together friends, philanthropists, and global changemakers, and resulted in an incredible €200,000 raised in a single night!
The total includes all guest donations generously matched euro-for-euro by the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation, doubling the impact of every pledge and amplifying the hope delivered to children battling critical illnesses around the world.
The evening was graced by the presence of distinguished guests and Make-A-Wish ambassadors, including international model and television personality Victoria Silvstedt, who served as emcee. Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, the creator of easy family of brands and founder and President of the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation, made the powerful announcement that his Foundation would match all donations received during the night.
A moving highlight of the evening was the special recognition of Sir Stelios himself. Luciano Manzo, CEO of Make-A-Wish International, and Konstantine Antonopoulos, 2024 Wishmaker of the Year, jointly presented him with the Wishmaker of the Year 2025 award, a heartfelt token of appreciation for his unwavering commitment to the Make-A-Wish mission.
The long-standing relationship between the Stelios Foundation and the Make-A-Wish family began with Make-A-Wish Greece, the very first touchpoint that sparked this growing alliance. That collaboration has since flourished, including events at the Stelios Foundation Conference Hall in Plaka, Athens in Greece.
Guests were also moved by the emotional story of Katerina Karaindrou, a wish alumna, who shared her journey of hope and healing thanks to the wish that changed her life.
“This evening was a celebration of hope,” said Sir Stelios. “Thanks to every guest who contributed and to the team who made this night possible, we are making real change in children’s lives.”
All proceeds from the event will go directly to Make-A-Wish International, helping to bring joy, strength, and renewed belief to children and families who need it most.
